The Revivalists

5Revivalists

While these pictures are a couple of years old, we are all still about the same, enjoying our revivalist projects, homeschooling, working outside of the home (and renovations), and getting to the great outdoors as often as possible.

1 of 3 Little Revivalists

Our 12 year old Ben:

Incredibly kind, very responsible and dependable, helpful, respectful, and a great brother to his siblings.

2 of 3 Little Revivalists

Our 9.5 year old Will:

SUPER goof ball, huge sense of humor, kind, sensitive, helpful, the best laugh.

3 of 3 Little Revivalists

Our 7.5 year old Charlotte:

So smart, so kind, great sense of humor, scrappy, a girl among brothers- don't mess with her!, learning to be a great renovator along with the rest of our brood.

Bonded

Our kids are so incredibly bonded.  They do everything together, they share, they learn through homeschool, they play piano, they make up games... they truly are the best of friends.  We're so proud of their bond.

Maybe I AM crazy.

When I set up these pictures a couple of years ago, it was hot, it was muggy, and I was hellbent on getting our living room sofa out in the woods with the photographer... along with a vanity and an old chandelier.  Michael, my husband, puts up with a lot.

Wire-haired Pointing Griffon

"What kind of dog is that?"

Wally is our WPG and the most sensitive pack oriented dog we've ever had.  He has these precious moments eyes that make us all melt.  He gets a lot of treats.

Rescue Maine Coon Mix

"I think he judges me."

Yep, I bet he does.  Jim is our newest member and loved by all.  He is so sweet and full of personality.  We love his ear tufts and hair halo all over his body.  He was rescued from the Animal Humane Society of Minnesota.  We surprised the kids with him.

Labradoodle

"Is that a cheese wrapper I hear?"

If you've seen "A Dogs Purpose", I can tell you that I've been saying it for years (long before the movie existed) that this dog, Pete, is my childhood dog.  I grew up with a black standard poodle (Beau), and Pete could not be more like him.  My mom, Dad, and Pete have a special bond.  I'm convinced its because its actually Beau.

Standard Poodle

Maggie was a rescue, from a family that was dealing with health issues and could no longer take care of the dogs they had.  Maggie is the sweetest, easiest dog we've ever had and Charlotte loves that she's a girl, to "balance out the boy/girl ratio a little better", she says.

We DO actually live in a house.  This house was built in the 1950's and has been s l o w l y renovated over the last 9 years.  We are so comfortable in this house, its not large, fits us well, it's easy to maintain, and now, has our style attached.
